MATCH Eatery & Public House
MATCH Eatery & Public House is a contemporary themed pub built around sports and entertainment. It has a rooftop patio and an outdoor bocce court. The building on Vees Drive was an 11-month, $25-million project, and this was Gateway's first MATCH rooftop patio.
Sunday to Thursday, MATCH is open from 11 AM to 10 PM. Friday and Saturday run longer, 11 AM to 1 AM, so a Saturday night there finishes early on Sunday. All times are local Pacific time.
Questions about the pub go straight to MATCH at 778-476-8555. Holiday hours are not published, so check cascadescasinopenticton.com or call the casino at 250-487-1280. No menu or prices appear in this guide.
The Summit Bar
The Summit Bar is in the heart of the casino, separate from MATCH and its rooftop patio. Its hours are not published, so this guide cannot say when it opens or when last call comes. To check before you go, call the casino at 250-487-1280. The building is at 201-553 Vees Dr., Penticton, BC V2A 8S3.
Big screens and live entertainment
The casino offers live entertainment and sports on big screens. This guide does not list dates, acts or games, because the casino posts its own line-up. You will find it on the entertainment page of cascadescasinopenticton.com. Check that page before you plan dinner around a game or a show. All times are local Pacific time.
Dinner and the floor in one evening
Sunday to Thursday, MATCH closes at 10 PM and the gaming floor stays open until midnight. On Friday and Saturday, MATCH runs to 1 AM and the floor to 2 AM. Tables open at 4:30 PM from Wednesday to Saturday, with closing posted only as "Late". Sunday tables run 2 PM to 10 PM. No table hours are posted for Monday or Tuesday.
Before dinner, decide when the evening ends and how much you will spend. Settling both over the meal means the decision is already made later on. A GameSense Advisor is available in the casino if you want to talk it through. Gambling Support BC is free, confidential and open 24/7 at 1-888-795-6111.
